Schumacher College, England
People from all over the world, of all ages and backgrounds, have been informed, inspired and encouraged to act, by our 20 years of transformative courses for sustainable living. Schumacher College has an enviable reputation for cutting-edge learning. Our work is to inspire, challenge and question ourselves as co-inhabitants of the world, to ask the questions we all struggle to find answers to and to find sound knowledge, intuition and wonder in our search for solutions. We bring together the leading thinkers, activists and practitioners internationally, to deliver a unique brand of small group learning experiences. This learning takes place in the classroom, the gardens, the kitchen – it pervades everything we do. Here you will discover things about yourself, make deep friendships with students from around the world, and, like many alumni, start a lifelong connection with the College. With a focus on interactive, experiential and participatory learning, we offer the practical skills and strategic thinking required to face the ecological, economic and social challenges of the 21st Century. Findhorn College, Scotland
Findhorn College aims to create and shape all its educational programmes within a paradigm of sustainability. We benefit from the fact that our classes and trainings take place within the context of a working community: a community of open inquiry and of holistic values. Ecovillage communities are learning communities and as such provide an ideal context for education in social and ecological literacy. The entire community can be seen as living ‘laboratory’ for the kind of transformative education that will help us in creating a culture of sustainability. Instituto EcoHabitar, Spain

Eschwege Institut, Germany
We founded the Eschwege Institute and its Training Academy Campus Peregrini, to be able to carry the “rites of passage-work” deeper into the society. We offer many different trainings in Germany and one English speaking Vision Quest per year in Scotland. We cooperate with a faculty of international and interdisciplinary teachers in special fields of the rites of passage work. Some of the workshops these experts offer are English speaking. Our goal-group is mainly people who work with young people or people in transition phases of their life, such as social workers, teachers and experiential pedagogues etc. and people who want to find new ways of working with people in transition phases. In cooperation with the Ojai Foundation (www.ojaifoundation.org) and the School of Lost Borders (www.schooloflostborders.com) in California, the Eschwege Institut is also hosting a Council training and a Council in schools training. See „calendar of events“ for council seminars. We would be happy, to welcome you one day. Holger & Gesa Heiten More: http://www.eschwege-institut.de/eng_who_we_are.html
